Game Design II Final Project

This is my final project in  which we have to use everything we have learn in class to create a matte painting. Giving the theme of Nuclear Winter in Japan during the year 2020 i came up with the idea of showing the calm after the havoc. using different adjustment layers, pictures from the web and pictures i took myself i was able to come up with this concept idea. I took 6 days and about 30 hours to complete this final.

GameDesignII



We had to try and make clean selections using the refine edge tool on photoshop. In doing this project I found that certain pictures were harder to make cleaner selections then others, like I found the bufflo was the easiest and the woman with the hair was the hardest.
